A substantial antique cast iron book press dating from the late Victorian to early 20th century, originally used by bookbinders, printers and stationers for pressing books, papers and leather bindings.

Featuring a heavy cast iron frame with a large screw mechanism and metal handle, this impressive piece is mounted on its original timber base.
