A rare and original Flash Cycles roadster bicycle, manufactured in Midland, Western Australia, circa 1959.

Founded by champion cyclist Eddie Barron, Flash Cycles became one of Western Australia's most successful bicycle manufacturers during the post-war era. This example survives with its original frame, paintwork, decals and period accessories, making it a wonderful piece of local transport and industrial history.

Finished in dark green with cream mudguards, the bicycle displays beautifully with authentic age-related patina and retains the character of a well-preserved mid-century roadster.

Features include original Flash Cycles decals, rod-operated brakes, period lighting, rear reflector, cream-wall tyres and single-speed drivetrain.

Presented in unrestored condition, it would make an outstanding display piece for a collector, café, business, museum, man cave or vintage cycling enthusiast.

A scarce survivor from one of Western Australia's most iconic bicycle makers.
