A rare Grimwades commemorative teacup and saucer produced to mark the 1951 visit of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell to Western Australia. Featuring sepia portrait transfers of the founders of the Scouting and Guiding movements, this set is finished with gilt accents and the inscription: “To commemorate the visit to Western Australia of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell – April 1931.”
Backstamped Grimwades England. The cup stands 73mm tall. A highly collectable piece of WA Scouting history and WA ephemera.
