Original British royal commemorative pressed glass plate issued for the coronation of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902.
Clear glass with crisp beaded lettering reading “Edward VII and Alexandra”, flanked by lion and flag motifs, with a central gilt portrait medallion of the King and Queen. A classic piece of Edwardian souvenir ware, made for public celebration of the coronation.
Good sharp moulding throughout. The gilt centre shows expected age wear but remains clearly visible. No chips or cracks observed.
A strong display piece for collectors of royal memorabilia, British history, or antique glass.
